February 28, 2026 Factory News Brief
The firecrackers of the Spring Festival have just subsided, and while most of our peers are still struggling with the anxiety of "labor shortages," our melamine veneer factory is already running at full capacity today.
There were no deafening drums or ribbon-cutting ceremonies. At 8:18 this morning, as the first decorative panel successfully rolled off the production line, we simply brewed a cup of tea and exchanged greetings of "Good luck on the first day of work." In this extremely competitive board industry, pragmatism is more important than formalities.
Many people ask, with so many people making veneers now, what's the point?
Indeed, the barriers to entry in this industry are low, and everywhere you look, there are "almost the same" products. But what we want to do this year is precisely to break this "almost the same" mentality.
First, we cured the industry's "obsessive-compulsive disorder."
Anyone in the veneer industry knows what they fear most: color difference, a "orange peel" appearance on the surface, and the substrate showing through after pressing. This year, the core of our technological upgrade was equipping the press with a "brain." With our newly introduced digital temperature control system, we no longer rely on the experience and feel of veteran craftsmen. The first batch of products rolling off the production line today has data fluctuations controlled within 3%, whether it's the clarity of the synchronized grain or the physical properties of scratch resistance. We want furniture factory owners to know that this batch of boards can be used blindly without any problems, even without full inspection.
Secondly, we've decided to "go all in" on customization. In today's market, whole-house customization has encroached on every corner of the door panel market. The mass-produced matte and glossy finishes can no longer satisfy designers' ambitions. This year, we've adjusted our product line, no longer blindly pursuing a scale of "10,000 sheets per day," but focusing on "small batch, high-aesthetic" orders. From the deep oak color of Italy to the micro-cement texture of wabi-sabi, as long as you can provide a drawing, we can complete color matching and pressing in the shortest possible time. Small orders and fast turnaround will be our foothold in this fiercely competitive market.
Finally, regarding environmental protection, we've gone an extra mile.
While E0 grade is now standard, the absence of a pungent odor in the workshop and the workers' willingness to remove their masks to work are what we find most inspiring. The new production line uses a completely new formula of melamine adhesive, which not only makes the boards smell like wood but also gives our downstream customers—young consumers—the confidence to provide their children with a crawling space.
In the new year, we don't want to make grand promises. In this factory, the flatness of every board and the precision of every pressing is the foundation of our confidence in communicating with the world. 2026, we've already started. We look forward to joining hands with more home furnishing brands that don't want to follow the crowd in this revolution of "surface."
